Do you have absolutely no idea of what MUN is and does? Here's some information to give you a first taste!

Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations, as a delegate you learn to defend the policy of a country and debate with other countries. Through speeches and negotiation you try to convince the other delegates that the actions you propose can be the solution to the problem (for example: climate change).
You learn public speaking, negotiation and diplomatic english. This all happens in a low-threshold environment (since all other delegates have to speak and debate as well).
MUN’s are organized all over the world and try to motivate students to take part in the world of diplomacy and international relations at every level. Don't worry, you don’t need any particular experience in advance to participate, neither do you have to study anything related to diplomacy or law. MUN is for everyone who is interested in global issues and finding ways to solve them.

GhentMUN organises an annual Model United Nations conference. Check out this year’s event: https://www.facebook.com/events/2140966002899860/
